A teacher of BTS MECP (Aesthetic, Cosmetic and Perfumery Professions) from Lycée Marie Curie went to Slovenia from June 4 to 9, 2022 for a training&job shadowing mobility.

Welcomed by Žana and Miha, who organize ERASMUS mobility in Slovenia within the company SIMO experience, she was able to discover various companies in the aesthetics field (the Spa of the Rikli Balance Hotel in Bled and the Wellness area of ​​the Hotel Bellevue in Maribor Pohorje) and meet the managers of these companies. During the visit to the school Srednja zdravstvena in kozmetična sola Maribor she also had the opportunity to discuss with the director and a teacher of this school around Slovenian pedagogical practices in the aesthetic courses. These meetings allowed her to enrich his knowledge and professional skills.

These visits and the fact that English is a widely spoken language in Slovenia also make it possible to envisage work placements in Slovenia for future BTS MECP students’ mobilities.

This stay was a really enriching professional and personal experience!
